Jacek Formela

Jacek is a leading expert in Poland in the field of state aid, with a particular focus on special economic zones, supporting new investments, and administrative proceedings.

From 2016 to 2024, Jacek led the investment department in one of the Special Economiz Zones in Poland, where he was responsible for building a business support ecosystem in the Pomeranian and Kuyavian-Pomeranian regions. He built teams responsible for acquiring and servicing investors and developing vocational education. Previously, he managed the Management Board Office and corporate services of the Company.

For several years, he has been involved in transactions related to real estate located in the Pomeranian and Kuyavian-Pomeranian regions; an expert in real estate, tenders, auctions, and the Act on Ports and Harbors. Jacek also gained experience in the energy law sector as a member of the supervisory board of a company supplying utilities to Ostrów Island. He is the co-author of the first commentary on the Act on Supporting New Investments published in Poland by C.H. Beck.
