Andrzej Pałys is an advocate and a partner responsible for the Dispute Resolution practice. He has led legal teams handling several thousand court proceedings on behalf of entities from the banking and financial sectors. He was responsible for developing litigation strategies, supervising team activities, and managing large portfolios of disputes and claims.
He has also represented companies in the construction, real estate, renewable energy, and infrastructure sectors, supporting them in commercial, contractual, and regulatory disputes.
Andrzej has experience in personal rights protection cases, gained through long-term cooperation with Poland’s largest press publisher, as well as in commercial and criminal proceedings conducted for international corporations. He specializes in court and arbitration disputes, particularly at the intersection of law and the financial sector. For many years, he represented financial institutions in high-value and highly complex cases.
He is the author of numerous publications on credit disputes and the compliance of contractual templates with current case law. He frequently appears as a speaker at industry conferences organized by, among others, the Polish Bank Association and the European Financial Congress, and serves as a mentor at Kozminski University.
Before joining Kozikowski & Partners, he managed one of the largest financial dispute practices in Poland, comprising several dozen lawyers.
